History
Detectives en Colombia was founded on July 17, 2006, by Mr. Sergio Pérez. He has been certified as a criminal and judicial investigator since 2007 and has been practicing as an investigator since then. In 2018, he earned the title of international investigator. These achievements make us proud as a company because, in South America, this title has been awarded to only a few investigators, with our director being one of them and the only one with this certification in Colombia.
In 2020, Detectives en Colombia became part of Background Colombia SAS, a company also founded by Mr. Sergio Pérez in 2019. With over 15 years of experience as Director of EC, Detectives en Colombia is now part of Background Colombia SAS.
The staff of our agency is highly qualified with studies in Criminal and Judicial Investigation, known for their high professional ethics, hard work, and responsibility. We have been in the market for over 15 years, during which we have established ourselves as one of the most recognized agencies in Colombia.
Our Director
At BACKGROUND COLOMBIA SAS, we are privileged to be led by Sergio Pérez, a pioneer in the field of investigation. With over 16 years of experience as a Detective and Judicial Investigator, Sergio earned his degree in Criminal and Judicial Investigation in 2007, establishing a solid foundation for his career. In 2018, he attained the title of International Investigator, a distinction shared by only a select group of four professionals across South America, and he is the only one with this certification in Colombia.
